FAQ's
- Our organisation is based in the UK but our projects are for women and girls overseas, can we still apply for funding?
No, I’m afraid we are only able to provide funding for women’s projects which are located in the UK. We do not provide any funding to women’s projects overseas.
- Our project mainly benefits women/girls but not exclusively, can we still apply for funding?
No, as we are the UK fund for women and girls we are only able to fund projects that work with women and girls exclusively. If you are running a mixed project, we are unfortunately unable to help you with funding.
- Our project does not seem to fit under any of your grants headings, can we still apply for funding?
If your project does not fit under one of our grants headings then unfortunately you will not be eligible to apply for funding. Our four funding headings – economic justice, health and wellbeing, leadership and safety – have been chosen after years of thorough research into the needs of the women’s sector and we are currently unable to provide funding outside of these areas.
- My project is located in Wales/Scotland/Northern Ireland, can we still apply for funding?
Yes, we welcome applications from all over the UK.
